a brighter day

i'm relieved that the exams are finally over. the papers this year were especially bad. i dont want to dwell much on it now..since they're already over. good riddance!!! the world seem brighter now...

double o last night with chee keong and terence. felt good chilling out with the guys after the papers. had a few emotional moments, since my dearest partner will be leaving for the states shortly. after 5 semesters together, i'm really gonna miss you. i swear it's not just the lab reports haha.. you guys are the only reason why studying life science is tolerable, there is no way else i could have survived! 20 years down the road i'll look back on these days and smile...

i'll save the goodbye for later, since you're not like leaving..tmr..

endured a long and draggy rehearsal for miss chinatown today. i'm just glad it's gonna be over in like..3 days' time. i'm so vexed by the whole organisation of the competition that i dont even want to talk about it now. much of our precious time was wasted, every single time.. i agree that some of us dont really put in much effort..but we try. wouldnt you agree with me, sometimes the amount of effort one put in is dependent on how much the other party decide to put in as well? if you show us that you care to make this a success, that you care to be on time, that this is important to you, then we will also make the effort to do our best. you dont, so we dont either. honestly, we deserve better, and not having insults hurled at us.

oh well, never mind.

more interesting pictures to share, taken by my friend, a photog, clifford.

"Was touched by the dedication of this old lady,
who have faithfully come to the park to feed the
pigeons and pat them, hug them, over the last few decades."

"This has got to be my favourite pic. My heart melted when she started cuddling her feathered child. The amazing thing was, the pigeon did not struggle at all... contented to be cuddled by her human mother..."
