sunny bank..
nice scenery ya?
say cheese!
dinner at xiao tai pei..
there is a stall named after the show!
yum yum.. bro about to take a bite..
one thing i hate most about aust is that all the shops close really early..it's only 6pm and all the retail shops are closed! damn! no shopping!
bro's friend, jasper, behind the wheels
hMm..sadly the results werent very promising haha.. well not unexpected. almost got a heart attack when he turned into a one-way road..going against the traffic!
south bank.. a very nice place!! behind me is an artificial beach and tall commercial buildings.. hmm like boat quay ya? without all the pubs and restaurants. brisbane is sadly deprived of nightlife, or so it seemed.
went to brisbane's version of pasam malam..a higher class version.. took photo with this old man who was wearing a really funny costume, too bad you cant really tell from the pic. he actually looked rather pissed i didnt buy anything from him. haha..
south bank has a very..courteous culture.. all the cars give way to all the pedestrians!
as you can tell it's not really that cold since i was not even wearing my sweater.
the cinema..the purplish blue backdrop is the curtains covering the screen. we watched war of the worlds. tic prices are around the same as those in sg.. $5.70 for students, $7.20 for adults. week days $5. hMm in aussie dollars hor..
free seating, so there was a long queue outside the cinema long before the show actually started. full house. an emcee even come in and told us to shift inwards so that there will be enough seats for everyone.
curtains opening.. i thought the show was pretty exciting, got me wide eyed thoughout the show..though the ending was a bit "huh huh?". the guys seemed to think the show was crap.. *shrugs* to each his own!
